A prominent Clare Psychiatrist is hitting out at a decison to transfer mental health funding to other area of the health service.
About 12 million euro of the 35 million increase for mental health services will be used to fund vaccines and other areas of care for the elderly.

Leo Varadkar says 791 million euro will still be spent on mental health services this year and the full allocation will be restored in 2017.
