The Bishop of Galway is again being urged to clarify whether or not residents in Liscannor can continue to use the local church as a funeral parlour.
Earlier this week, and in direct defiance to the diocesan policy, Saint Brigid’s Church was used for the laying out of a local lady to allow people to pay their respects.
A delegation from the parish travelled to Galway to meet with Bishop Martin Drennan to outline their concerns to the ban but were given no definite answer
