The Diocese of Killaloe has confirmed that the new Bishop will arrive in the county next week for a brief visit.
Father Kieran O Reilly will attend a press conference at Ennis Cathedral on Wednesday which will also be addressed by the outgoing Bishop Dr Willie Walsh and Mr Leonard Cleary- chairperson of the diocesan pastoral council.
Father O Reilly will officially take over as Bishop of Killaloe following his ordination on Sunday the 29th of August at a ceremony in Clare’s County Town

The head of the Catholic Church in Ireland Cardinal Sean Brady is likely to be among those attending the ceremony.
