The Irish Hotel’s Federation has welcomed the successful examinership of the Lynch Hotel Group, but says it’s not an option for many hotels in the Mid West.
The Clare based family run business will continue to trade as normal at its seven hotels including the Clare Inn, West County, and the Ocean Cove in Kilkee retaining 250 jobs in the county
However, the IHF say there are mixed feelings among other hotels in the region as large debts to Ennis Town Council, the Revenue Commissioners and many local businesses were written off as part of the process
