Black box data confirms French Alps crash was deliberate

Investigators in France say – during the descent – the settings were changed to increase the aircraft's speed.

The latest information appears to confirm the theory that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz deliberately smashed his plane into the mountains, killing all 150 people on board.

Yesterday, investigators found a tablet computer at Andreas Lubitz's apartment in Dusseldorf and were able to reconstruct his computer searches from before the crash.

It found search terms involving cockpit doors and their security methods.
