The body of a teenage girl from Limerick has been recovered from the river Shannon almost a week after she disappeared.
Divers found the body of 17-year-old Trudy Hayes shortly after one o’clock on Saturday near Barrington’s Pier.

Her body was taken to the mid western regional hospital for a post mortem.
