There’s good news for residents in O’Briensbridge, Montpellier and Bridgetown as the local water supply has been given a clean bill of health.
The HSE, along with Clare and Limerick County Councils have removed the boil notice that was affecting approximately 500 people in the South East Clare/ Limerick border areas.
The notice was put in place last Tuesday following deterioration in water quality due to the floods but latest tests have shown the water being supplied meets drinking water standards once again.
