Fire fighting services in Shannon have been boosted.
A new emergency tender worth over a quarter of a million euro has been delivered to the local fire station this week as part of a 1.2 million euro upgrade.
The upgrade will be completed by the delivery of a new Water Tanker to Shannon Fire Station later this month,
