Parents, pupils and teachers at one South East Clare primary school have been given a further boost.
The government has given the go-ahead for the construction of a new permanent facility at Meelick National School, which will house three eighty-square-meter classrooms.

Last month, the school was providied with 45 thousand euro of funding to alleviate serious defects at the school, where conditions have been described as ‘absolutely appalling’ by Clare TDs.
Labour’s Michael McNamara says the county’s government representatives have been lobbying for improvements at Meelick National School.
