The redevelopment of Ennis National School has moved another step closer.
A contract for the design of the new premises at the Ashline site on the Kilrush road has been issued.
It’s seen as a significant step in the construction of a new school to replace the current buildings and prefabs which the HSE deemed not fit for its purpose and that staff and pupils were at risk in the buildings.
