Over 5,000 animals are being flown from Shannon Airport to Rwanda this evening as part of an international aid mission.
Bothar are flying out a plane-load of in-calf heifers, bulls, pigs, goats and chicks to trained families in Rwanda who will now use the animals to bolster their incomes.

The flight is the largest of its kind in the world, and marks Bothar's 25th anniversary.
The charity's CEO Dave Moloney says their first flight, which was also from Shannon was supposed to be one-off.
