Clare Boundary Change opponents are being told that being part of Limerick City is "not the end of the world", as they prepare to take their fight to the streets this weekend.
Limerick City Councillor Kathleen Leddin is hoping Shannon Banks and Westbury will become part of the new Limerick Authority and has expressed surprise at the strong opposition being voiced by many South East Clare residents.

It comes as members of the Clare Against the Boundary Extension group call on the public to join their protest in Westbury this Sunday.
But Councillor Leddin told Clare FM the extension will mean a better Limerick City which will be good for everyone
