Clare's Junior Minister has received reassurances from Aer Lingus that it will maintain it's existing routes out of Shannon Airport.
Pat Breen has met with senior representatives of the airline, to outline the need for its parent company IAG to uphold its promise to strengthen it's relationship with the MidWest Airport.

It follows the cancellation of over 20 flights over the past fortnight, which led to disruption for over 3,000 passengers.
Minister of State Breen says Aer Lingus has acknowledge that the whole situation was badly handled and that the airline remains committed to Shannon.
