Officials from Irish Aid will face questions today over the misappropriation of Irish funds in Uganda, when they come before the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Irish funding to Uganda was suspended last month when it emerged that an investigation was underway into the misappropriation of 4 million euro.

The Ugandan government has since committed to repaying the money.
Committee Chairman and Clare TD Pat Breen wants the Ugandan Prime Minister to visit Ireland and reassure us as to how humanitarian funding is being spent.
