The Burren has come out on top of a new list of County Clare’s best natural wonders!
Following on from the recent new seven wonders of nature campaign, visitors to the clare.modus.ie website were asked to select their favourite attraction among the county’s most popular tourist sites and 46% of those survey chose North Clare’s Limestone Landscape over the Cliffs!
With 46% of the online vote the Burren is well ahead of the Cliffs of Moher – on 29%, followed by Loop Head on 12%.

6% of those surveyed voted for East Clare’s main natural asset – Lough Derg, while a further 6% chose the Ailwee and Doolin Caves
