Businesses contributed almost 130,000 euro to charities and community groups in Clare.
New figures from Business in the community Ireland show that 13 companies supported social issues in the county by donating 128,500 euro and 4,018 volunteer hours.

Nationally, health organisations received the most funding at 5 million euro, community projects received 1.9 million, 1.8 million went to educational programmes and 14. million was donated to arts and sports projects.
