It’s claimed people are crying out for a ‘cremation wall’ to be erected in one of Clare’s largest burial grounds.
Independent Councillor James Breen says Drumcliffe Cemetery in Ennis is nearing capacity and that having a wall to inter the cremated remains of people will be of ease to the community.
The local authority says a policy on whether to make them compulsory for future burial grounds could be considered.
