The National Youth Council of Ireland is calling for youth work to be prioritised in the upcoming budget, with Ireland’s youth population expected to exceed a million by 2025.
Despite the growing number of young people living in this country, the NYCI says funding for youth employment is still 20% lower than in 2008.
