Calls have been made on members of Limerick City Council to foster a better relationship with their Clare counterparts.
South East Clare councillor Cathal Crowe believes representatives in Limerick should follow the lead of those in North Tipperary, who this week met with members of the Killaloe electoral area to discuss a new bridge for the town.
Councillor Crowe believes a similar joint approach could work well on joint Clare-Limerick issues, such as the contentious boundary debate.
