An Oireachtas Committee has heard calls for the fishing and angling industries to be developed, in an effort to bring more tourists to Clare's coast.
The Sub-Committee on Fisheries in Leinster House has been discussing a report, which looks to promote rural, coastal and island communities in a sustainable fashion.

As part of this, a hearing of the group has been told that Ireland is flagging behind the likes of Iceland and Norway when it comes to attracting tourists who want to fish.
Luke Aston of Loop Head Tourism says it's an area which has huge potential.
