Members of Clare County Council will today hear calls for Mary Harney to resign as Minister for health
The motion will be debated in Aras Contae an Chláir this afternoon, and comes following cutbacks in recent years at a number of health facilities in the county including A and E services at Ennis General and bed closures at St. Josephs.
Ennis Councillor Tony Mulqueen is behind today’s motion – he says Clare’s elderly are not being properly catered for.
