There are urgent calls for a reduction in the speed limit on the main Ennis to Tulla road following Friday’s fatal crash.
30 year old Michael Maloney Junior from Kildysart died after the car he was driving hit a wall near Clooney Church while his cousin and front-seat passenger, 23 Wayne Fitzgerald , from Newmarket on Fergus remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Its the second fatal crash on that stretch of road in the past 18 months and local representatives feel the speed limit on the route needs to be reduced.
