A group of North and West Clare Councillors are calling for the resumption of their monthly area meetings to deal with a number of urgent issues affecting the area.
Cillian Murphy, Shane Talty, Joe Killeen, Joe Garrihy, Ian Lynch and Roisín Garvey have written to Cathaoirleach Bill Chambers say they need to urgently discuss issues including the ongoing water problems in the Miltown Malbay area.
They also want to look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on North and West Clare, and their response to it.

Area meetings are currently suspended throughout Clare, but Kilkee Fianna Fáil councillor Cillian Murphy says they’ve received a positive response to this call.
