The first all-Ireland cancer atlas will be published today.
It shows major unexplained variations across the island in the risk of most common cancers.

Findings include one that shows that the risk of lung cancer is higher in urban areas, while bowel cancer is more common around Cork city, and in a band across the north of the island.
