Clare Gardaí are on the hunt for a gang who are believed to be responsible for a spate of thefts of catalytic converters from cars in Miltown Malbay and Ennis.
At least six vehicles were targeted over the past week.
Catalytic converters, which reduce emissions from vehicles, contain valuable metals, and can be cut off the underneath of cars in a matter of minutes.

Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Triona O’Rourke has outlined details of one of the thefts in which one car was targeted in the Finnuremore Park estate in Mullagh last Tuesday night.
