Funding for the Clare Early Intervention Scheme has risen by over a hundred thousand euro.
The figures were released to councillors at the recent meeting of the Mid West Health Forum amid fears monies for the scheme would be cut, due to serious budgetary constraints.
The CEIS programme is aimed at children up to the age of six who have a disability and or complex needs.
