Limerick City’s most prominent politican doesn’t believe there’ll be any boundary changes in South East Clare.
Fianna Fail TD and former Minister Willie’Dea has said he understands the strong sense of county pride around communities like Meelick, Parteen, Westbury and Clonlara but doesn’t think local fears will be realised.
The Limerick local government committee is now considering submissions and is expected to make it’s recommendations to the Environment Minister in September.
