Celtic Mist- the yacht sailed by the late Charlie Haughy has been offered as a gift to the Kilrush based Irish Whale and Dolphin Group.

The 52 ft motor sailor ketch had been on sale on the Isle of Wight since last year but the late Taoiseach son says the IWDG had been invited to take it over for its research in Irish waters.
The steel yacht, which has four cabins and six berths, could also be used to promote marine conservation and awareness of the abundant marine life around the coast of Ireland both here and abroad
