Workers have been evacuated from a factory in Ennis following a chemical spillage this morning.
The alarm was raised just before 7am when staff reported the spill inside the Essilor plant at the Gort Road Industrial Esattte
An area around the faactory has been cordoned off, and staff have been evacuated but no one has been injured.

Units of the fire service from Ennis and Shannon are currently dealing with the incident.
