A long-serving West Clare Councillor insists it must remain an individual’s own decision whether or not to use posters in the local elections.
The issue has once again been debated in the council chambers, after both the Ennis and West Clare Municipal Districts heard motions calling on councillors to abandon postering.
This has seen some sign up to a voluntary charter where they’re committing not to use posters ahead of May 24th’s polling day and instead focus on social media campaigns.
