Now that the Christmas decorations are coming down, there’s an opportunity to recycle your Christmas tree in many areas of East and West Clare today.

Clare County Council is organising free collection of Christmas trees throughout the day in West Clare starting in Kildysart Community Centre at 8.30, The Square in Kilkee at 10 o’clock, Kilrush public car-park from 12 to 2, the Church car-park in Doonbeg from 2.30 and in Cooraclare from 3.30.
In East Clare the collection route runs from the Square in Killaloe from 10am, Scarriff from 12 noon, the Courthouse in Tulla from 2pm and Kilkishen near the Dun na Rí Estate from 3.30 to 4.
Christmas tree collections take place in the Shannon and North Clare areas next week.
