The EU Commissioner for Agriculture says the European Commission is prepared to help Irish farmers who are short on fodder.
Speaking in the country last night, Dacian Ciolos also said he was confident the CAP negotiations would be concluded under the Irish EU Presidency.

Irish farmers are concerned about how Single Farm Payments would be distributed under the European Commission’s demand for a flat rate payment per acre.
On the issue of fodder, Commissioner Ciolos said he will do all he can to assist farmers who do not have enough feed for cattle.
