Clare County Council has received the largest level of funding in Munster for its recycling efforts in the latter half of last year.
184 thousand euro has been allocated to the local authority to meet the costs of operating their bring banks and civic amenity facilities from July to December.
The council says the funding will assist the Local Authority in meeting the maintenance and operational costs associated with the recycling facilities at Shannon, Ennis, Scarriff, Lisdeen and Inagh, as well as the county’s 53 bring banks.
