Claim Ireland Should Look Abroad To Fill 200% Increase In Hotel Jobs

The Director of the Shannon College of Hotel Management says Ireland will have to look overseas to fill the increasing number of hotel jobs.

It comes as figures show there has been a 200 percent increase in the number of vacancies in reception work, cooking and hospitality in the past five years.

The hospitality sector is worth €7.2 billion to the Irish economy and now supports an estimated 235,000 jobs, according to the jobs.ie research.
