The Clare-based CEO of Muintir na Tíre believes the Government must have contingency plans in place for the national broadband plan before the Dáil returns in September.
Doubt has been cast over the viability of the government’s plan this week, after SSE pulled out of the process, following in the footsteps of EIR, Vodafone and the ESB.
Enet is the only remaining bidder and says it’s tender is on track and just weeks away from submission.
