A development in energy conversion off the North Clare coast could play a part in the creation of up to 50,000 jobs in the Irish economy.
An Irish company, Sea Power Ltd., has completed the winter survivability testing programme for their prototype of a wave energy device, which would be used in Galway Bay.
The machine converts the energy found in waves, and was developed at different locations along the West coast.
