A new campaign urging the people of Clare to vote yes to Lisbon is being launched in the county today.
While the Treaty was rejected by the Irish public last time round, it got the thumbs up here by a narrow majority.
Michael McNamara who contested the recent European Election as an independent candidate is co-ordinating today’s event which is being held at the Westpark Business Campus in Shannon.

A number of high profile figures in Clare including Brian Lohan, Father Harry Bohan and Michael Vaughan are involved in today’s event .
