Clare beach-goers are being warned not to swim in waters invaded by Lion’s Mane.
The jellyfish has been blamed for the hospitalisation of five people around the country in recent weeks and has been spotted in the Fanore, Ballyvaughan, Whitestrand and Kilrush areas
