Clare Beef Plan Chair Feels Double Standards Exist Between Countries In Tackling Climate Change

The Clare Chair of the Beef Plan Group says that double standards exist between countries in their efforts to tackle climate change.

Yesterday, Taoiseach Mícheal Martin joined the more than 80 countries who have pledged to help reduced global methane emissions by 30%.

Although, the Taoiseach insists that this is a global and not a national target, many farmers have expressed fears that up to 50,000 jobs in the sector could be placed in jeopardy as a result.
