Clare’s car industry has again showed increased annual sales, with growth here higher than the national average.
While the number of new cars registered nationally last month was up by over 15 per cent, the number of new cars licensed in the county last month was up by almost 20 per cent.
Figures from the CSO also show that the number of motorcycles registered in the county increased by sixty per cent.

However, there was a drop of second hand cars registered for the first time last month, while the number of goods vehicles registered dropped by almost half.
