Clare Chambers urge businesses to maximise new Aer Aran/Aer Lingus routes

Businesses across Clare are being urged to give their full support to the four new routes set to operate out of Shannon Airport this summer.

In a joint venture Aer Lingus and Aer Aran will operate 26 weekly flights to Manchester, Bermingham Bristol and Glasgow – with tickets going on sale this Wednesday.

The airlines expect to carry over 120 thousand passengers in the first year of operation which will also see the creation of twenty local jobs.

In a joint statement Ennis Limerick and Shannon Chambers of Commerce says the new service is very innovative and provides strong business and tourism links between the Mid West and the UK
