Childcare providers in Clare have welcomed The Children’s Minister pledge to publish HSE reports into inspections at facilities across the country.
Speaking in the wake of last night’s Prime Time Investigates programme which showed children being manhandled Francis Fitzgerald says the inspection system needs to be more robust.

Describing the scenes as shocking and disturbing the Minister promised to have HSE reports published within weeks and also available online.
There are currently over 180 registered pre school facilities and childminders across Clare.
Siobhan Hopkins Manager of BridgeKids- a childcare facility in Sixmilebridge – believes publishing reports will lead to higher standards.
