Clare Civil defence say they’re now in a better position to assist in situations of bad weather in the county after receiving new equipment this week.
The local civil defence this week reveied two inflatable tents which volunteers can use when providing first aid cover, responding to major emergencies and as water distribution points during periods of bad weather.
The civil defence has also acqured four bicycles, equipped with first aid kits, which will be used at large gatherings such as homecomings.
