Communities across Clare are being told they have a major role to play in helping to reverse the recent rise in suicides.
The farming sector has been particularly hit following the fodder crisis with many farmers left overwhelmed due to the shortage of feed for animals and subsequent financial strains.

It lead to a cluster of 7 deaths in the West Clare area alone in recent months – as the region was among the hardest hit by the poor weather.
