Clare County Council is looking for your input on a new plan to drive investment in the Shannon Estuary.
The proposal would mean changing the status of 345 hectares of land in the county development plan – for use by Marine Industry.

Two locations have been identified at Cahercon and Moneypoint where the Council says existing pier facilities and deep estuarial water provide potential for maritime industry investment.
