Clare County Council is in the running for three national awards at a function in Dublin this weekend
The Local Authority Members Association Awards recognise local projects in the areas of community development, innovative engineering, recreation and national impact initiatives, which have made a lasting impact on the nation as a whole.

Among the Clare finalists are the Clare Library Website in the Best use of I.T. Category, Culturlann Sweeney in Kilkee in the
Best Public Building Section and Athlunkard Nursing Home in the Best Healthcare Building Category.
The LAMA awards will be presented by broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan tonight.
