Clare Councillors have given their backing to calls for General Practice to be protected in rural parts of the county.
Local representatives have thrown their support behind a campaign which wants GP services to stay in rural towns and villages.

Last month, a public meeting in Corofin heard concerns that a lack of supports was threatening the viability of rural GPs, and another meeting on the issue is already scheduled for the New Year.
