A Clare government TD says "it is beyond him" why Clare County Council has not spent more money in carrying out post-storm repairs here.
Labour's Michael McNamara's comments come after the Office of Public Walks warned the local authority that it could lose any repair moneys that are unspent at the end of the year.

Clare County Council has previously said that it couldn't spend the money until it received clarity from the OPW, and a decision in respect of funding following the last of the storms in February.
