Clare residents have been put on alert once more, amid warnings of more flooding ahead of the third storm to hit the county in the space of five weeks.
Winds and heavy rains are forecast for tomorrow, but a National weather warning is in place for all of Saturday when southwest winds will gust up to 130 kilometres per hour, strongest in Atlantic counties.
Frequent heavy showers are forecast also, and Met Eireann and Clare County Council warn of a high risk of coastal flooding.
The local authority is warning people in flood-prone areas, both on the coast or inland, to take precautionary steps, and say conditions could be similar in nature and extent to the storm events of early January, which led to an estimated €23.7m worth of damage in over 30 separate areas.
