Clare County Council is being urged to clarify whether residents of unfinished housing estates in the county are liable for the 100 euro household charge.
The call will be made on the Council’s executive at the monthly meeting of local representatives tomorrow.
The problem is particularly acute in South East Clare, where residents in Westbury have been calling on the Council to repair problems in their estate for some time.

Local representative Pascal Fitzgerald feels those people deserve to have the situation clarified.
